No analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts. Here is exactly what the site does and does not store.

The short version

  • This site has no analytics, no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels and no third-party embeds.
  • It does not set cookies. It has no accounts, no comment forms and no newsletter, so it holds no personal data about you.
  • The only way it learns anything about you is if you email [email protected].

What your browser stores

A few features remember a choice in your own browser, using localStorage or sessionStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to the site or anyone else. You can clear it any time from your browser settings.

  • theme — your light or dark choice.
  • seoAuditChecklist, preLaunchChecklist, uiUxDesignChecklist — ticked items in the checklist tools.
  • ctaDismissed, beadHinted (session only) — remembers that you closed a prompt or saw a hint, until the tab closes.

Search, the calculators and the checklists all run in your browser. What you type into them is not transmitted.

Server logs

The site is hosted by Hostinger and served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they process technical request data (IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, time) to deliver the site, keep it secure and measure capacity. I do not run my own analytics on top of that and I do not see individual visitors. Their handling of that data is described in their own policies: Hostinger and Cloudflare.

Fonts, audio and images

Fonts, images, the audio versions of guides and all scripts are served from this domain. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts, a CDN or another third party.

Guides link to documentation and to hosting providers. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. Some hosting links are affiliate links; see the affiliate disclosure. An affiliate link can let the provider recognise that you arrived from this site, which is how the commission is credited.

If you email me

I use your address and message only to reply, and keep the thread as long as it is useful. I do not add anyone to a mailing list or share correspondence. To have a thread deleted, ask at [email protected].

Changes

If the site starts using analytics or anything else that changes the above, this page will be updated first and the date at the top changed. This page describes how the site works; it is not legal advice.
